Cocoa-Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    2 c. buttermilk
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream butter or margarine with the vanilla.
    Gradually add the sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat until light and fluffy. Add cocoa, soda and salt.
    Turn mixer on low speed.
    Add buttermilk slowly and flour.
    This makes three 9-inch layers or one 9 x 13-inch pan cake.
    Ice with your favorite frosting.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
