Layered Spinach Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. fresh spinach, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    1 large onion, sliced
    1 lb. bacon, crispy fried and crumbled
    8 slices Swiss cheese, chopped
    2 c. salad dressing, mixed with 1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Layer first six ingredients in a large salad bowl in order listed.
    Blend salad dressing and sugar in a small bowl. Spread over salad, sealing the edges.
    Chill overnight.
    Toss lightly before serving.
    Yields 8 servings.
