Microwave Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. each: salt and freshly ground pepper
2 c. turkey
1 (15 oz.) can pinto beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation

In 1 1/2-quart microwave-proof dish, combine onion, green pepper, salad oil and minced garlic.
Cover with plastic wrap, turning back one section to vent.
Microwave on High for 2 minutes.
Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.
Cover and microwave 1 minute.
Add turkey, pinto beans and tomato sauce. Cover and microwave for 5 minutes, stirring once.
