Round Brown Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. water
2 tsp. soda
2 c. raisins
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. nuts

Preparation

Boil first 3 ingredients for 2 minutes.
Cream next 5 ingredients together.
Add flour, salt and nuts.
Beat all together.
