Bishop Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 C. sugar
    8 oz bottle maraschino cherries, cut in half, with juice
    1 1/2 C. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 C. nut meats
Preparation
    Beat eggs well, add sugar slowly to eggs.
    Add cherries and juice, mix well.
    Add dry ingredients; fold in nut meats.
    Place in a loaf pan.
