Boston Shrimp Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shell macaroni
    1 can shrimp (flat can)
    1 small cucumber
    1 small onion
    1 small firm tomato
    6 to 8 strips bacon
    3/4 can mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cook macaroni according to directions.
    Drain and rinse well with cold water.
    Put in a large bowl.
    Add shrimp.
    Chop vegetables into very small pieces.
    Fry bacon until well done and crumble.
    Mix all ingredients together and toss well with mayonnaise.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Line a large bowl with fresh lettuce leaves and turn completed salad into bowl.
    Sprinkle top lightly with paprika and refrigerate.
    Serve cold.
