Freezer Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. celery seed
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 carrot, cut lengthwise into fourths and sliced
1 onion, chopped
Preparation

Mix cabbage and salt; let stand one hour.
Heat sugar, vinegar, water and celery seed to boiling.
Boil and stir one minute; cool to lukewarm.
