Ingredients

3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 c. coconut
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour. Cream in butter, then add in milk and vanilla. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in coconut.
Beat egg whites with 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff.
Spread over pie and brown lightly.
