Ingredients

1 1/4 c. butter, softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3/4 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) peanut butter chips
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream butter and sugar in large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually blend into creamed mixure.
Stir in peanut butter chips.
Drop by teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 9 minutes.
Do not overbake!
Cookies will be soft; they will puff during baking and flatten upon cooking.
Cool until set, about one minute.
Remove from cookie sheet and allow to cool completely on wire rack.
