Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. quick cook oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
6 c. apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1/2 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter. Stir until crumbly.
Press half of the oat mixture into a 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Cover with apples.
In a medium saucepan combine white sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla.
Pour over apples. Cover apples with the remaining crumble mixture.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
