Colorado Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 slices bacon
3 large onions, sliced
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 can green limas
1 can pork and beans
1 can white limas
1 can kidney beans
Preparation

Fry bacon until done.
Drain and keep until later.
Cook sliced onions in bacon grease.
It is best to cover skillet and let them cook slowly until they are limp.
Add brown sugar and vinegar.
Drain all beans, except pork and beans.
Add beans to onions along with crumbled bacon.
Bake in 2-quart casserole or bean pot at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
