Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    1 bunch broccoli, stemmed
    2 to 3 onions or 1 large Vidalia onion
    1/2 c. dark raisins
    2/3 c. mayonnaise
    1/4 c. sugar or Sweet 'N Low to taste
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    2 or 3 cans water chestnuts, sliced
Preparation
    Cook rice and cool.
    Slice broccoli and onions into food processor and process.
    Mix all ingredients.
    Cover and chill. Best made day before.
    Serves well with grilled chicken breast, butter beans, okra and sliced tomatoes.
