Minestrone Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 onion, diced
2 (15 oz.) cans tomatoes
2 c. chopped Swiss chard
2 c. beef broth
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) garbanzo beans
1 (16 oz.) can green beans
1 c. dry small shell macaroni
2 c. water
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt
grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Preparation

Do not drain tomatoes or beans.
In Dutch oven, brown meat and onion; add tomatoes and Swiss chard; cover and simmer 10 minutes. Add broth, beans, water, macaroni (dry), Italian seasoning and salt.
Cover and simmer until macaroni is tender.
Serve with Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
Serves 6.
