Helen'S Fruitcake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour (cake)
    1 c. self-rising flour
    2 c. sugar
    10 eggs
    3 sticks butter
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 or 3 Tbsp. water
    1/2 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 qt. chopped nuts
    2 lb. white raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
    Flour diced fruit with 1 cup plain flour.
    Sift rest of flour together (2 cups plain, 1 cup self-rising).
    Add gradually to batter; add fruit, nuts, vanilla and water.
    Bake 3 1/2 hours at 225\u00b0.
