Swedish Heirloom Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. unsifted powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nut meats (ground)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    Cream together the oleo, sugar and salt.
    Add the remaining ingredients.
    Chill for a short time.
    Make into small balls and bake on an ungreased sheet at 325\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Use a spoon to thumbprint.
    Add powdered sugar icing when cool.
    Makes about 36 cookies.
