Crescent Pecan Pie Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Lightly grease (not oil) a 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Separate crescent dough into 2 large rectangles.
    Press over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan to form crust.
    Seal perforations.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 5 minutes.
    Combine egg, sugar, corn syrup, butter and vanilla; pour over crust.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 18 to 22 minutes, until brown. Cool; cut into bars.
