Mexican Black-Eyed Peas Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dried black-eyed peas
2 lb. pork sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (undrained)
1/2 c. water
2 1/2 Tbsp. celery, chopped or dried
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Cook peas.
Brown sausage and onion; drain fat off.
Drain peas.
Stir all other ingredients into peas.
Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
