Salmon-Cheese Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/3 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can salmon or mackerel
    1 small onion
    2 Tbsp. salmon juice
    1/3 lb. cheese, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
    Cut in shortening.
    Combine eggs and milk; beat well.
    Add to dry ingredients and mix only until flour is moistened.
    Roll out 2/3 of dough to fit 9-inch pie pan.
    Drain salmon (or mackerel); flake into bowl, removing skin and bones.
    Add onion and salmon juice.
    Turn into pie pan.
    Cover with cheese.
    Roll out remaining dough; place on top of cheese.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
