Beef Veggie Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 pkg. Hamburger Helper for beef noodles
    5 c. water
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 can tomatoes
    1 can or pkg. mixed veggies
Preparation
    Cook and stir the beef and onion in a Dutch oven until beef is brown.
    Stir in sauce mix, bay leaf, salt, pepper and tomatoes; heat until boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer.
    Stir in noodles. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
