Nut Crunch - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. pecans
2 c. walnuts
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
dash of salt
1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation

Place nuts in shallow baking dish.
Toast in preheated 325\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
Beat egg whites until soft peaks form.
Add sugar and salt.
Continue beating until stiff peaks form.
Fold in nuts.
Melt butter in jelly roll pan; spread nut mixture over butter.
Bake 30 minutes at 325\u00b0, stirring every 10 minutes. Makes about 4 cups.
