Breakfast Cinnamon Pinwheels - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk
1/3 c. shortening
2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together.
Cut in shortening.
Add enough milk to make a soft dough.
Turn out on a lightly floured board.
Knead together 1/2 minute.
Roll oblong to 1/4-inch thick.
Spread with soft margarine.
Stir cinnamon, sugar and nuts together.
Sprinkle over dough.
Roll up tightly like a jelly roll.
Cut in 3/4-inch slices.
Arrange cut side down on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes. (While still hot, frost with thin powdered sugar icing.)
Best served warm.
