Ingredients

6 apples, peeled and sliced
1 c. sugar or less
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. butter (oleo)
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

In 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch square pan, simmer apples, water and sugar in 350\u00b0 oven.
