Cranberry Festive Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    3/4 c. vegetable oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    2 tsp. grated orange rind
    2 c. fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. orange juice
Preparation
    Combine first 5 ingredients in a bowl. Combine buttermilk, oil, eggs and orange rind; stir well. Add to dry ingredients; beat until smooth. Fold in cranberries, dates and walnuts. (Batter will be thick.)
