Cheddar Cheese Ring - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. medium Cheddar, shredded
    1 c. mayo
    1 c. pecan pieces
    1 small chopped onion
    dash of pepper
    dash of cayenne pepper
    pepper jelly or strawberry preserves
Preparation
    Combine all and mix well.
    Lightly grease (Pam or other spray product) a 5 or 6-cup round mold and place mixture into mold. Refrigerate overnight.
    Place jelly or preserves in center of the mold.
    Serve with crackers.
