Hot Roll Mix - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. hot water
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. Crisco, melted
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 pkg. dry yeast
    5 c. all-purpose flour (add more if needed)
Preparation
    Put warm water into a bowl; add egg, salt, Crisco and sugar and dissolve well.
    Make sure mixture is warm.
    Add yeast that has been dissolved in the warm water for about 3 minutes.
    Add flour a small amount at a time; mix well.
    Let set 5 minutes.
    Put on floured board or table on wax paper and knead.
    Make into rolls; let rise about 25 to 30 minutes.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 15 minutes or until done.
    Brush with melted butter.
