German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. (8 medium) potatoes
    4 slices bacon, diced
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2/3 c. cider vinegar
    1/3 c. water
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Boil potatoes in jackets until tender.
    Cool, peel and slice thin.
    Fry bacon until crisp; add onion and cook 1 minute more. Blend in flour, salt, sugar and pepper.
    Stir in vinegar and water; cook, stirring, 10 minutes.
    Pour over sliced potatoes; add celery seed and parsley.
    Serve at once.
