Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yellow squash, sliced
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    8 saltines, crushed
    1 c. grated cheese
Preparation
    Boil squash in small amount of water several minutes, then drain.
    Combine all ingredients except a small amount of cheese and crackers.
    Pour into casserole.
    Sprinkle with remaining cracker and cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
    Yields 4 servings.
