Texas Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. fat
3 large onions, sliced
1 large green pepper, minced
1 lb. ground beef
2 c. cooked tomatoes (1 lb. can)
1 tsp. chili powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. washed, uncooked rice or 2 c. uncooked noodles
Preparation

Cook onions and green pepper in fat until tender.
Add ground beef, cooking until mixture falls apart.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Pour into 2-quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, removing cover for last 15 minutes.
