Turkey Supreme - cooking recipe
Ingredients

sliced breast of turkey
1 pt. milk
1 pt. cream
1/4 c. butter or substitute
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 Tbsp. salt
1 qt. chicken stock
1/4 lb. toasted almonds
1/4 tsp. marjoram (herb seasoning)
Preparation

Melt butter; add flour and stir until smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
Heat chicken stock, milk and cream separately (2 pints half and half may be used instead of cream and milk).
Pour heated stock into mixture and stir until smooth.
Add milk and cream. Allow to cook over slow heat for 10 minutes.
Serve sauce very hot over sliced breast of turkey and steamed noodles or rice. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
Serves 12.
