Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed down with your fist
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    12 oz. DeMoulas chocolate morsels
    1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugar (brown and granulated) and vanilla until light and fluffy.
    Beat in eggs.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Gradually add creamed mixture, mixing until well blended.
    Put in chocolate chips (and nuts if you want).
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned. Makes about 5 dozen 3-inch cookies.
