Ingredients

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1 egg
1 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. orange juice
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in large bowl.
Beat at low speed, scraping bowl
often, until well mixed, 1 to 2 minutes. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours.
Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
On lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/3 at a time, to 1/4-inch thickness.
Cut out with cookie cutters.
Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
If desired, sprinkle with colored sugar or bake and decorate later.
Bake 6 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
Remove immediately.
Cool completely.
