Texas Tornado Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 scant tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 c. plain flour (all-purpose)
    dash of salt
    2 c. fruit cocktail and juice
    1 c. chopped English walnuts
Preparation
    Sift together sugar, flour, soda and salt.
    Beat in eggs and fruit cocktail.
    Pour in lightly greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix brown sugar and walnuts together.
    Sprinkle over cake batter.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Ice cake while hot.
