Grasshopper Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    about 24 Oreo cookies
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
    1/4 c. creme de menthe
    few drops green food coloring
Preparation
    Make Oreos into crumbs by putting into blender.
    (Put cookies in 3 or 4 at a time because it's easier to blend.) Press into pie pans.
    Soften ice cream.
    Add creme de menthe.
    Mix well.
    Add green food coloring if desired.
    Pour into crusts.
    Freeze overnight.
    Makes 2 (8-inch) pies.
    You can garnish top by adding some of the Oreo crumbs.
