Banana Nut Bread I - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 c. mashed banana
1 c. unbleached flour
3/4 c. flour (whole wheat)
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, oil, egg and mashed banana.
In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add to the banana mixture, a small amount at a time.
Add chopped nuts.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Serve with butter, softened cream cheese or peanut butter.
