Pumpkin Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 large sliced onion
3/4 c. chopped green onions
1 can (16 oz.) pumpkin
4 c. chicken stock (bouillon is okay)
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. curry powder
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
parsley
2 c. milk
salt to taste
Preparation

Add onion and green onion to margarine, cook until soft.
Stir in pumpkin, chicken stock, bay leaf, sugar, curry powder, nutmeg and parsley.
Cook 15 minutes, uncovered.
Puree in blender.
Add milk and salt gradually, mix and simmer 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped green peppers or a drop of sour cream or paprika.
