Ingredients

1 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Beat Crisco and sugar thoroughly.
Add eggs.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add to Crisco, eggs and sugar mixture.
Chill dough. Roll ball about size of walnut.
Roll in 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
The cookies will puff up and then flatten out.
