Ingredients

4 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 1 c. cocoa
1/2 c. oil (plus 8 tsp. if using cocoa)
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
4 unbeaten eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Melt chocolate down and mix with oil.
Add sugar and vanilla. Add eggs singly.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add chocolate mixture and nuts to dry ingredients.
Chill overnight.
Form into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Yields 6 dozen.
