Eclair - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 whole graham crackers
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. vanilla or chocolate instant pudding mix
    2 cans cherry pie filling or 1 can chocolate fudge frosting
    2 c. whole milk
    1 3/4 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Line 13 x 9-inch pan with some of the crackers. Pour cold milk into bowl. Add pudding mix. Beat at low speed on mixer until well blended (1 to 2 minutes). Let stand for 5 minutes. Then blend in Cool Whip. Spread 1/2 of pudding mixture over crackers. Add another layer of crackers. Top with remaining pudding mixture. Top with remaining crackers. Spread pie filling or frosting over top. (Frosting works better if warmed just a few seconds in microwave to make more spreadable.) Chill 3 hours or overnight.
