Hockey Puck Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    2 c. sour cream
    1 can creamed chicken soup
    8 oz. bag grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. crushed cornflakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Mix first 8 ingredients and place mixture in 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble on top cornflakes mixed with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
