California Raisin Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. water
    1/3 c. jelly (currant or grape)
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. orange rind
    1/2 c. orange juice
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    dash of salt
    dash of allspice
Preparation
    Rinse raisins; add water, jelly, rind and juice and bring to boil.
    Blend sugar with cornstarch, salt and allspice; stir into orange mixture.
    Cook, stirring, until clear.
    Makes 1 1/2 cups. Great for baked ham.
