Steamed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head cabbage, cut in small pieces
    2 tsp. sugar
    small amount of garlic salt
    small amount of red pepper
    2 or 3 Tbsp. bacon grease
Preparation
    Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil; add cabbage, other ingredients and salt to taste.
    Cover and cook on high for 10 minutes.
    Stir frequently.
    Cut off heat and let steam for 5 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
    Sprinkle with bacon bits.
