Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream the sugar and shortening. Add egg and beat well. Alternate dry ingredients with the milk.
Fold in nuts last.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 until cookie springs back when tested. Frost while slightly warm with a chocolate powdered sugar frosting.
These are moist. Do not overbake.
