Golden Gate Chow Mein - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pork steak
1 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. chopped onions
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Accent
2 c. beef broth
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
3 oz. sliced mushrooms (reserve 1/4 c. liquid)
16 oz. Chinese vegetables
2 Tbsp. brown gravy sauce
3 c. chow mein noodles
Preparation

Cut meat into thin strips.
Brown meat.
Stir in celery, onions, soy sauce, Accent and broth.
Cover; simmer for 30 minutes.
Blend cornstarch and reserved mushroom liquid. Gradually stir into meat mixture.
Add Chinese vegetables, mushrooms and brown gravy sauce.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
Boil and stir 1 minute.
Serve over noodles.
