Old-Time Giblet Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. gizzards, boiled and chopped
    4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. flour
    1 can chicken broth
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt butter in saucepan.
    Add oil, flour, onion and salt and pepper to taste.
    Blend well; let brown.
    Add 2 cups chicken broth (add more broth if needed).
    Add giblets and eggs; cook until thick, stirring constantly.
    Serve with dressing.
