Ingredients

1 c. Crisco or margarine
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. rolled oats (quick)
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. chopped coconut
Preparation

Cream together Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and blend.
Combine soda and salt with flour, then add to creamed mixture.
Stir in oats, nuts and coconut, mixing thoroughly after each ingredient.
Divide dough into 3 balls, then shape into rolls and roll in wax paper.
Refrigerate until firm.
Cut into slices with a sharp knife.
Bake at 375\u00b0 on ungreased cookie sheet about 10 minutes or until brown.
