Ingredients

2 sticks (1 c.) soft butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
Cream and blend together the butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
Sift together and stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
Add chocolate chips and pecans.
Drop the batter from a teaspoon onto a cookie sheet, leaving lots of room in between cookies.
Bake for 10 minutes, or until the cookies are as brown as you wish.
