Ingredients

2 c. rolled oats
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. melted butter
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients (oats, sugar, baking powder and salt). Set aside.
Combine egg, butter and vanilla.
Add to dry mixture. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, let sit just a few minutes and then quickly remove from pan.
A sharp spatula works best.
