Sour Cream Banana Bread - cooking recipe

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. mashed bananas
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. presifted flour
Preparation

Preheat oven
to 350\u00b0.
Grease one 8-inch loaf pan.
Beat shortening and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add salt, eggs, bananas, sour cream and baking soda.
Lastly, add the flour. Turn batter into pan.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove from pan and cool on rack for 1 hour before serving. Stores well in freezer.
