Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. white sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 stick oleo or butter
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. uncooked, rolled oats
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cocoa together.
    Add milk and cook over low heat about 1 minute, stirring well to dissolve sugar.
    Add oleo; keep beating to melt.
    Do not overbeat.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanut butter, vanilla and oats.
    Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper to harden.
