Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 stick margarine
4 sq. chocolate
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Melt chocolate, Crisco and margarine; set aside to cool.
Beat eggs with rotary beater and sugar; mix well.
Add chocolate mixture to eggs
and sugar.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add to egg and chocolate mixture; mix well. Add vanilla and nuts.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool before cutting into squares.
